Mers deadly virus has not been feasible so a global threat? - One victim Mers infections in the UK are reported to have died last June. With this, the death toll due to increase to 41 mers, and the number of overall infections were 77 people in the entire world. But according to scientists, Mers deadly viral infection is not dangerous enough to be considered a global threat.
The study, conducted by scientists of the 55 cases mers that exist in the Middle East indicate that the virus is difficult to spread between humans. However, it is likely the virus will mutate and cause a greater threat.
Scientists from the Pasteur Institute in Paris found that this virus is spread only on a limited number. Figures possibility of transmission between humans is 0.69. This means that three patients affected mers will only transmit the virus to one or two others.
"To date virus Mers not dangerous enough to be a plague to the world. Yet this is no reason for everyone to underestimate him. This is a good time to stop," said Professor Arnaud Fortanet, as reported by the BBC.
Dr. Benjamin Neuman of the University of Reading argues that scientists have done a great job with identifying possible mers become a global threat that is quite small. However, research also shows that the Mers can change and mutate. For that, there is no reason to assume this virus underestimated, although for now the spread of the virus is still slow.

This study also showed that children with autism lack the three types of bacteria in the gut when compared with children who do not have autism. The results are published in the journal PLoS One on July 3, 2013, as reported by Reuters.
"One of the reasons researchers are beginning to consider the link between intestinal bacteria with autism is the fact that many children with autism who have digestive problems until they are adults. Research also shows that if we can overcome this problem, the behavior of autistic children will develop better," said lead researcher Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown, researchers from Arizona State University's Biodesign Institute.
This research can be further developed to learn a new way of digestive problems in children with autism. Moreover, these results can also be used to prevent and treat children with autism.
Previous research revealed that intestinal bacteria have a significant role, including in terms of digestion, maintain a healthy weight, and regulate the immune system. Although finding a link between autism and gut bacteria, but this study did not prove any causal link.

When onions are sliced, cells in it were damaged. Exit the named compound that reacts with the sulfenic acid enzyme and produce a gas called Propanethiol S-oxide. If the gas enters the eye and is mixed with water in it, it forms sulfuric acid.

Respiratory infections as infants increase the risk of diabetes - Although it seems trivial, but diseases such as mild respiratory infection that occurs when children aged zero to six months may increase a child's risk for developing type 1 diabetes until doubled. If the child is exposed to a respiratory infection at the age of six months to 12 months, the risk will be reduced to 32 percent.
Even so, the researchers stressed that this could be not the same for all children, because this study is only performed on children who have a high risk of diabetes, the child who has had a family history of diabetes.
"In general, the immune system is still in its infancy when the kids were babies. To that end, the immune system is still vulnerable if challenged by the virus that causes the infection," said study author Andreas Beyerlein, from the Institute of Diabetes Research in Munich, as reported by U.S. News.
These results were found after researchers followed 148 children aged under three months. All infants had family members and relatives who have type 1 diabetes. Researchers recorded history of infection and illness experienced by babies what ever suffered by the child until they are three years old.
At the end of the study, scientists found that children exposed to respiratory infection at the age of six months had a risk of developing type 1 diabetes are two times greater than children who did not experience respiratory infections. Beyerlein explained that not only affect the number of infections, but also time and age when exposed to infection.
Furthermore, Beyerlein suggested that parents who have a child at risk of developing type 1 diabetes keep their children from possible respiratory infection in infancy. It is necessary to avoid increasing the risk of children developing diabetes as adults. Researchers will conduct further studies to identify the type of virus that can cause infection and lead to increased risk of diabetes in infants.
